I have some small jars and containers so if you are unsure about anything you can just buy a small amount of a product to try it and see how you get on. If it doesn't work for you then please do contact me and we can work out why and maybe try something else or maybe the product works slightly different to products you've previously used.

All the ingredients of our products are natural, with no dyes or harsh chemicals, so they tend to not have the same instant gratification we have grown accustomed to. Directions for use are on the bottles or labels provided but you'll notice a similar pattern in usage; apply the product, leave it to work its natural magic, and come back to wipe/scrub it clean. As an inherently inpatient person this eco-friendly journey has taught me much about slowing down. 

Focus on one area at a time. The kitchen sink is always a good place to start - hand soap, washing up liquid and surface spray. Swap out one or two items at a time and build up as you go along. If you try to do everything all at once it can get overwhelming. Just swapping out one liquid hand soap to refillable can save anywhere from six to 24 plastic bottles a year.

You can purchase branded and labelled Fill Refill bottles and jars. They are all glass, made from recycled glass waste, can be cleaned and sterilised making them 100% refillable over and over again, and if they do reach the end of their life they are 100% recyclable over and over again too. Plastic-free and screen-printed with all the necessary product information. They look good too.

By all means please do bring your own containers for refilling. For health and safety reasons please make sure they are clean and dry with any previous labelling removed. When you refill you will be offered product labels to apply to your own container.

ALTER/NATIVE 400ml bottles are made from prevented ocean plastic which are fully recyclable at the end of life. Whilst I prefer to not have any plastic products, I appreciate that this is not always practical, especially in the bathroom, and double especially with kids.
